Hello to all of you wonderfuls out there who read our blog! The exciting news is ready to be announced. We are moving up to the Antique Mall. There will be a few life changes coming up for me that will not make it easy for me to devote so much time at the shop, so we are compromising and doing booths. This way, we will have even more time to hunt for great old stuff and work on our furniture projects. Do not dismay-I will still keep up on the blog.
Sadly though, when you come to shop you will not be greeted by our smiling faces : ( It is a bittersweet transition for us, but we are excited to start a new chapter in our vintage loving lives! Thanks to all of you who have loved our shop and our finds throughout the past year.
We will still be here until the end of April, or until the store empties, so it is a great time to get a deal on that special something you have been wanting. Enjoy 20% off your purchases until we close, and spread the word, I don't want to have to move it all!
I just moved into my booth last Saturday. For those of you who frequent the mall, my space is the first on the left side when you walk in, in the window. You can't miss it, it is practically blinding and full of my favorite color white! My mom will be moving into her booth on May 1st. Hers will be just one space away from me. Be sure to check us out.
One more thing, we are helping out a friend open up her antique filled barn. It is full of GORGEOUS antiques that she has collected over many years so stay tuned for more on the opening of that wonderous place.

Feeling special and new goods
Happy Friday everyone!
I just have to start off by saying how absolutely special I feel right now. I have been so blessed this week by gifts from customers. I was given an amazing little side table, earrings, and a wire vine plant. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have met so many amazing women this past year. Thanks so much to you all for loving Vintage, but more importantly for being such wonderful friends to us. You truly are appreciated!
And since I know you are all dying to see my newest piece of furniture, here are the before and after! Doesn't it have some gorgeous carved legs?
I haven't decided on a permanent (yeah right) home for it yet, so I put it in the entryway and stuck the shoe basket on it. Not super practical but I am not known for my practicality anyway.
We just got in a wonderful group of items this week, many of which were rescued from local historical buildings. One of our customers has finally decided to part with some of her collection after her years of preserving historical properties. You know the drill, I shall start with my FAVE!
This farmhouse desk is so very pretty. I cannot even imagine a more perfect place to sit down and relax and blog. You could not help but be a creative genius with this baby beneath your laptop. $165 (but really priceless if you want my opinion, you don't but too bad)
Of course I have to show off the chippy legs. We have mother nature to thank for that wonderful patina.
We have so many new chairs. It is hard to see the color in this picture but it is painted a light sage green and then distressed. The pad has been covered with a pink and white rose pattern vintage bed sheet. So sweet! $36
I am now wishing that I had a better picture to show this dresser off. It came out of an old boarding house in Lebanon. I always love to hear where things come from. It is nice to imagine it in it's original home. Just think of how much use it has been through over the years and it is still standing. $95
Wonderfully rusty milk can and sticks $35
White vintage metal cart $42
This is such a great little cupboard. It has three shelves and a row of hooks at the bottom to hang items like keys. It would be handy to have near the front door to stick all of those random things that always clutter the counter. $30
Cute cute little wooden chair. I have a certain photographer friend that needs to use this in a photo shoot! $40
There you have it, the new stuff in a nutshell. If you want to join us for the Junk Swap, make sure you call me and sign up. 541-981-2767 Also, we have some big news to announce soon so make sure that you check back to find out. Thanks so much for reading!

Some funky new junk
Hello vintage lovers! I hope Spring Break has treated you all well. I don't have too many new pictures to share just yet but I thought I would share what I've got so far.
This buffet is so pretty but sold about 30 minutes after arriving at the shop. Of course (it is some sort of unspoken rule around here) everyone wants to buy it since it is sold and I can see why. It is adorable. And guess what? I get to paint it white for it's new home! I am pretty darn excited about that because it means that I get to have it in my house for a couple weeks while I am working on it. I will post an after pic for you all to see when I get done with it because I know you will be dying to see it.
These old tool boxes are a great and funky way to store or display so many things. I saw one recently that someone had stuck their extra couch pillows in. Creative, I love it. This one is pretty big so you could do just that with it, that is if I don't take it home first! Oh boo I can't, I have vowed to go all white in my living room, which means my beloved yellow dresser has to go : ( $45
This is such a charming little bench. It would be cute on your porch or patio with potted flowers or even someplace inside in need of a rustic touch. $125
I apologize for this pic but don't you just love this cement rooster? Forget putting this baby outside, I want one for my kitchen. Wouldn't it be such a nice unexpected piece inside or am I just a bit off my rocker? Wait don't answer that! $40
Cute cute cute and it has a great price tag to boot! This vintage watering can is lovely! Again, think indoor or outdoor. $18
That concludes this Friday's ramble fest. Thanks to everyone for reading, and check back soon for more new goods. Don't forget to sign up for the Junk Swap Thursday April 7th @ 7:15 pm if you haven't already!

Rearranged and a bulldog
We have had a busy week around here! The entire store has been flipped aro-ound. It was a lot of fun to put new collections together and I think we came up with some creative ways to display some of the goods.
This counter is such a pretty blue green color. It could be used anywhere in need of some extra storage space, a craft room, entryway, you name it, it will look amazing! $295
Beautiful old pie safe in great condition. The original shelves are inside, it is a beauty! $425
This red mantel is huge and oh so pretty. I have been seeing mantels on blogs lately just against the wall and decorated, with no real fireplace and I am loving that look. As soon as I find just the right one, I will have one of my very own. $275
Green cabinet $225
The pink and white has been moved to the back to brighten up that dark corner and it is looking so cute! Medicine cabinet $85 Dresser $125 Sweet little white chair $18
And I thought I would finish it off with one of my favorite things...a bird nest.
Don't forget about our next Junk Swap coming up on Thursday April 7th at 7:15 pm. Also, this week we will have a special guest down at the shop, the sweetest and most lovable little French Bulldog named Dooney, so come in and say hello! Have a great weekend!

Clam Chowder, Pom Poms, and Junk Swap!
Hello there! I hope March is treating you all well!
Before I forget, there is one thing I have to say. There is a sweet lady out there somewhere that came in last week and bought a few things. Among them were two of these aqua bowls. I didn't think about it at the time, but later I found this 3rd bowl in a random spot full of sand and shells and an icecream scoop! My sweet little boy had been helping me here at the shop the day before, and was making clam chowder in that bowl. So, long story long, to the lady who loved the other two, there is a third here if you want it! I feel bad you missed out on it, but the clam chowder just had to be made!
Next up, this white wicker hamper. There is one very similar in the PB Kids catalog that has a cute little liner in it. It would be a fabulously functional cute addition to any floor needing a break from laundry piles (not that I know anything about that). $32
These old cabinet parts have been such a hot item in the shop lately! This one is from a house locally that was remodeled. Their loss is our gain, we love this cabinet! Top $225 Cabinet base $250
I couldn't help myself, I had to add chicken wire to the doors. Love it!
This bistro set is still here patiently awaiting a front porch or patio to love it. 3 piece set $175
This coverlet and shams are beautiful! It is a full size set so would be perfect for a guest room. Coverlet $30 Pair of shams $14
Oh yes, we found ourselves another corner cabinet! $325
I made these pom poms and added them to our window display for some girly effect. I think these sweeties did the trick. If anyone is interested in making these, click here. Or you could always come by the shop and I could show you ; )
Still loving these concrete birds. We have more great concrete pieces coming soon! Birdbaths, and rooster and bulldog statues=Adorable!
This big white distressed mirror is such a beauty, I can't believe it hasn't been snatched up yet! $95
Ok, this is a bit random, but the fabric on this blanket is so gorgeously retro! If I had a place for it in my house I would definitely make it mine, but there is only one bed around my house in search of bedding, and somehow I do not think my son would enjoy it as much as I do! Twin $30 (can you believe that price?)
I will have more pictures next week of new goodies, so check back. If you want to see what I have been up to around my house, check out my latest blog post over at Stuck on GRAY.
One last thing before I shut up. While I was walking around the Antique Mall the other day, I had two people ask me when we are having another Junk Swap, so I decided to go ahead and plan another one. As long as there are enough people wanting to do it, I will keep planning them. So ladies, mark your calendars for Thursday April 7th at 7:15 pm. Despite the small group, there were some really really cute things at the last swap, so you will not want to miss it!

If I become president and my house
Happy Friday, can you believe another week has already come and gone? I figured I should share the goods since I have been slacking for a while. There are some very cute new things and even some things you all missed out on seeing since I took so long to post new pictures. We are very excited for the next junk swap. I need to get my buns in gear and figure out what I am bringing. Hmm.. More on that later but for now, new lovlies.
This looks like one massive cabinet but it is actually two pieces sold separately. The top cabinet happens to be sold and waiting to be picked up so boo if you love it : ( The lower cabinet, however, is still for sale and oh so darlingly chippy. This level of shabbiness is not everyone's cup of tea, but I really adore it. When you see a piece like this, you just know it has been well loved, and would have some great stories if only it could talk.
Close up of the lovely little drawer. Here you can really see how much this bad boy has been through. $295
Concrete quail, oh so cute for inside or out, and even a little mossy. $15
I was soooo excited to come across these old books that were actually affordable! Man people always want an arm and a leg for them. They are a popular item out in the blog world right now. They are the perfect finishing touch for any little spot that needs a little something. Stack of 2 $8
We have another bistro set to replace the one that was oh so popular and could have sold 10 times over. This one is about the same size, but the shape is a bit different. And oh yes, it has a creamy finish so it is hard not to love! 3 piece set $175
The two vintage locker baskets that we had both sold (sad day for me!), but we have this cute little green one to replace them. It really is a reproduction but still fun and functional. $20
Horrid lighting, I know but as I have previously expressed, I am not much of a photographer, so we are going to have to work with what we've got here. In this display are five, count 'em, five, of my fave items we have here at the market right now.
Just thought you might appreciate another shot of this little dandy.
Here you can see the layers of paint showing through. First is that darling milk paint green, and next pink, followed by what I hope is it's final layer, white!
Again, here is the pink medicine cabinet. It looks great paired with this white dresser. The cabinet could be the quirky little addition that one of your rooms needs. It would be the perfect unexpected twist in a room other than a bathroom.
$85
This little cabinet is a newcomer to the shop. The color doesn't show up very well in this picture but it is a yellowy green color. $75
We loved this cake plate and lid. It is large enough to hold a pretty good sized cake, but why not put a bird and nest inside? $35
Cute little white birdhouse $10
Congratulations, you made it to the end! Thank you so much for reading our blog and we always enjoy it when you come down to the shop to say hi! Have a great weekend everyone.
